Job Summary
Direct Support Provider positions involve supervising and caring for individuals served, delivering support in daily living activities, community orientation, medication management, meals, and household tasks while following person-centered plans. Duties include documenting daily program information, administering CPR/First Aid when needed, and ensuring safety and quality of life. Must be able to read/write English, have a valid driver’s license, pass DHS background clearance, and demonstrate commitment to the organization’s mission. Starting wage is $17-$18 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, HSA support, life insurance, retirement options, EAP, and paid time off. Remote option is on-site at Sunwood Home in Thief River Falls, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure
- Must pass DHS background clearance
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand the English language while conducting company business
- CPR/First Aid
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow program related plans
- Ability to provide person-centered services
