Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one support for an adult with developmental disabilities in their private home, assisting with daily living skills like bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support housekeeping tasks including laundry and tidying, while teaching and reinforcing independent living skills. Provide transportation to appointments and community activities, encouraging participation in social and recreational events. Maintain safety and well-being by following individualized service plans and behavior support strategies. Communicate professionally with guardians and agency staff regarding the individual's progress and needs. Work Thursday through Sunday shifts totaling 40 hours weekly, starting at $22–$28 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Authorized to work legally in the United States
