Job Summary
Assist with daily living skills, housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation for an adult with intellectual disabilities in a home-based setting. Teach independent living skills, reinforce behavior support strategies, and encourage participation in social and recreational activities. Maintain professional communication with guardians and agency staff while promoting safety and well-being. This community-based role supports structured engagement in shopping, sports, and other personal interests.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Authorized to work legally in the United States
