Job Summary
Support individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in engaging with their community through social, recreational, educational, or employment activities. Assist with developing independent living and social skills, including budgeting and self-care, while providing transportation and supervision during community outings. Monitor, document, and report progress, behaviors, and incidents in accordance with agency and Division of Developmental Disabilities policies. Collaborate with family members and case managers to implement individualized service plans and ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of individuals at all times. Participate in required training, meetings, and continuing education as mandated by DDD and agency standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire
