Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals provide care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Conway, SC, and Myrtle Beach, SC, including daily care, charting progress notes, assisting with medications, participating in community activities, attending doctor appointments with clients, and responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies. Starting pay is $15.50/hour for full-time DSP roles within a compassionate, team-oriented environment that offers benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and write in English
- Valid South Carolina license, if applicable
- Regularly required to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move 50-100 lbs. (assisted)
- One year (1), experience caring for and supporting people with special needs is preferred.
