Job Summary
Chart daily progress notes, ensure daily client care, assist with prescribed medication, and participate in community-focused activities. Attend doctor's appointments and act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations. Maintain a caring, respectful, and empowering environment while supporting clients toward individual independence goals using evidence-based practices. This full-time role in Spartanburg, SC, involves 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a). Candidates must be at least 21, hold a valid South Carolina license if applicable, and pass a pre-employment physical, drug, and TB screen. One year of experience caring for individuals with special needs is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and write in English
- Valid South Carolina license, if applicable
- Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move 50-100 lbs. (assisted)
- Must pass pre-employment physical
- Must pass drug screen
- Must pass TB screen
