Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Caregivers provide direct care, behavioral support, and community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities in New Jersey. Responsibilities include direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), community integration and companionship, behavioral support and mentorship, medication administration, and transportation to community activities. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old, CPR & First Aid certification, ability to pass background checks and DDD clearances, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Employment offers both Full-time and Part-time options with competitive hourly pay of $21.40 - $30.00. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, sick leave, and access to College of Direct Support (Online DDD certification courses). Work location is in person in East Windsor, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
- At Least 18 Years of Age
- CPR & First Aid Certification (from an approved provider)
- Ability to Pass Background Checks and Required DDD Clearances
- Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Transportation, and Acceptable Driving Record
- Experience in Behavioral Health, Caregiving, or Direct Support is Strongly Preferred
