Job Summary
Build safe, trusting relationships with youth ages 10–17 while supporting daily living needs like personal care, morning and bedtime routines, meals, and household tasks. Follow behavior support plans to ensure safety during dysregulation, model emotional regulation, and collaborate with families, medical professionals, and a multidisciplinary team including therapists and psychiatrists. Help youth develop independence, advocacy skills, and community connections through school preparation, after-school activities, and community outings. Monitor health and well-being while adhering to SEIU Local 503 Collective Bargaining Agreement standards. Requires licensed driver with two years' experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexibility for weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Great social skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds
- Knows basic cooking skills
- Knows basic cleaning skills
- Willing to be flexible and learn new skills
- Licensed driver with at least two years' driving experience
- Preference for applicants who can work at least one weekend day
