Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing meaningful support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with cooking, cleaning, hygiene, organization, and medication reminders; promoting independence and life skills; encouraging participation in social and community activities; documenting case notes using AxisCare; and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Flexible schedule with approximately 10 hours/week initially, increasing to ~24 hours/week starting July 1, 2026; evening, overnight, and weekend availability required. Local Henryville, PA candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to transport individuals in personal vehicle
- Background clearances
- Current registration, inspection, and auto insurance (if applicable)
