Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (Youth) at Albertina Kerr works with youth ages 10–17 in group home settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support development of social, emotional regulation, daily living skills, independence, and community connections. Responsibilities include building safe relationships with youth, supporting routines and daily living needs, following behavior support plans, ensuring safety, collaborating with families and medical professionals, monitoring health and wellbeing, and supporting youth across program needs. Requires flexibility, willingness to learn, trauma-informed approach, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; weekend availability preferred. Training provided and comprehensive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- Licensed driver with at least two years' driving experience required for day and swing shifts
