Job Summary
Build safe, trusting relationships with youth ages 10–17 while supporting daily living needs, including personal care, morning and bedtime routines, meals, and household tasks. Follow behavior support plans to ensure safety and model emotional regulation during moments of dysregulation due to trauma or skill gaps. Help youth develop independence in daily living, advocacy skills, and community connections through collaboration with families, medical professionals, and a multidisciplinary team. Monitor health and well-being while assisting with school preparation, after-school activities, and community support. Requires a licensed driver with two years' experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexibility for weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Great social skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds
- Knows basic cooking skills
- Knows basic cleaning skills
- Willing to be flexible and learn new skills
- Licensed driver with at least two years' driving experience
- Preference for applicants who can work at least one weekend day
