Job Summary
Direct Support Professional role in Western Montgomery County at KenCrest. Provide caregiver and life coaching to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence, personal care, meals, medication administration, social outings, and community participation. Responsibilities include supporting communication and self-expression, completing housekeeping and meal prep, helping clients reach personal goals, and recording required documentation such as incident reports and medical forms. Mandatory two-week paid new employee orientation with trainings (Medication Administration, MANDT, CPR/First Aid) for all DSPs; valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required; ability to pass background checks and drug screening; strong English skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
