Direct Support Professional - Vocational

Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at vocational work sites by maintaining consistent engagement, fostering self-advocacy, and providing person-centered support for daily living, social connections, and recreational activities. Deliver transportation services, assist with personal hygiene and medical needs including medication administration, and utilize Positive Support Programs to guide interactions. Create safe environments while providing accurate shift documentation. This role requires independent work, a reliable vehicle, and physical ability to intervene in aggressive situations or lift individuals. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and pass Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services and criminal background checks.
