Direct Support Professional - Vocational

Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at vocational work sites by maintaining consistent engagement, fostering self-advocacy, and providing person-centered supports. Encourage positive interactions, improve social connections, and facilitate participation in groups aligned with personal interests. Provide transportation, teach life skills, and assist with personal hygiene and medical needs including medication administration. Intervene in aggressive situations, support lifting, and utilize gait belts as required. Deliver accurate shift documentation and utilize Positive Support Programs to guide daily interactions. Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and completion of background checks.
