Direct Support Professional - Vocational

Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at vocational work sites by maintaining consistent engagement, fostering self-advocacy, and facilitating community inclusion. Provide person-centered supports including transportation, personal hygiene assistance, medication administration, and skill-building activities. Encourage positive social interactions and group participation while utilizing Positive Support Programs to guide daily interactions. Create safe environments, intervene in aggressive situations if necessary, and provide accurate shift documentation. Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and completion of background checks.
