Job Summary
Direct Support Professional responsibilities include providing hands-on support with kindness and respect, assisting with personal care (dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and other daily living skills), following individualized care plans and documenting progress, administering medications per policy, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, using approved behavior support techniques, and promoting community engagement. The role may involve travel to support from Residential to Day programs. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a willingness to train, ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs, and a valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
