Job Summary
Outline and prepare daily routines for clients based on their Individual Program Plans, assist with personal care including bathroom needs and clothing changes, and prepare meals with clean-up. Transport clients to and from their homes or facilities using company vans when necessary. Obtain the Direct Support Professional Certificate within the first 12 months of hire and maintain First Aid/CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention credentials. Work full-time AM and PM shifts in Vacaville, CA, lifting 30lbs in all weather conditions. Redwood Family Care Network delivers person-centered home and community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2
- Must obtain Direct Support Professional Certificate within first 12 months of Hire
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a California Driver's License
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check
