Job Summary
Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect, assisting individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in daily living skills such as dressing, toileting, hygiene, and feeding. Follow individualized care plans, document progress, and administer medications in accordance with policy while maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment. Use approved behavior support techniques to encourage community engagement and participation. Some roles require travel between Residential and Day programs. This direct support role is part of a mission-driven nonprofit focused on empowering individuals to live with dignity, independence, and confidence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- At least 3 years of unsuspended driving history with no more than 3 points
- At least 2 years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record
