Job Summary
Provide daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, and meals while implementing behavior support plans and teaching social and communication skills. Respond to crisis situations and maintain accurate daily documentation. Transport individuals to school, appointments, and community outings while collaborating closely with the clinical treatment team. Work the 2nd or 3rd shift in Titusville, Florida, with weekend and holiday coverage required. Complete a two-week orientation and pass pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test, Physical, and TB Test
- Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Must be able to complete a two-week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- Active CNA or RBT certification
- Related DSP or behavioral health experience
- Interest in human services, psychology, social work, youth care, mental health, or caregiving
