Job Summary
Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect, assisting with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, and bathing. Follow individualized care plans, document progress, and administer medications in accordance with policy. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment while using approved behavior support techniques to encourage community engagement. Some roles require travel between Residential and Day programs. This direct support role is part of Chimes, a mission-driven nonprofit empowering individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- At least 3 years of unsuspended driving history with no more than 3 points
- At least 2 years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record
