Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) role to work one-on-one with a young man with a developmental disability in Taberg, NY. Provide instruction and support to develop independent living skills, teach communication and social interaction, and facilitate community-based social, recreational, and physical fitness activities. Maintain daily time, mileage, and service documentation with attention to detail. Flexible schedule totaling 10 hours per week (hours Monday–Friday) with a pay rate of $21.30 per hour for direct support (and $16.00 per hour for indirect/training). Benefits include mileage reimbursement, health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, EAP, and 401k with up to 2% match. Requires valid email, valid driver’s license and auto insurance if applicable, background checks, and alignment with the agency mission and person-centered services.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
