Job Summary
Direct Support Professional Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation, compliance, and performance of assigned residential programs, providing leadership to staff (Assistant Residence Managers and Residential Aides) and ensuring high-quality person-centered services while maintaining regulatory and organizational standards. The role includes supervising staff, hiring support, scheduling, payroll approvals, and ongoing performance management; developing staff schedules and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation; ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance (Life Plans, ISP/SAP, habilitation plans, notes, billing records); leading interdisciplinary meetings and communicating with families, guardians, and service providers; promoting independence and meaningful outcomes; monitoring compliance and safety; ensuring staff trainings and certifications (CPR, First Aid, SCIP); and maintaining effective internal and external communications. Requires an Associate degree and 3 years of experience in OPWDD or similar setting, plus ability to perform required certifications and lift 50 pounds; must possess a valid driver’s license.
