Job Summary
Direct Support Professional helps individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being and serves as an advocate to improve overall quality of life. Responsibilities include outlining and preparing daily routines per the Individual Program Plan, assisting with bathroom needs and clothing changes, preparing meals and aiding in cleanup, and transporting clients in company vans when needed. Requires DSP Year 1 & 2 certifications within 12 months, RBT within 1 year, optional First Aid/CPR & CPI (preferred or willing to obtain), 21+ years old, California driver’s license, and successful background check. Required Qualifications
- Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
- Obtain your RBT within the 1st Year of Employment
- First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a California Driver’s License
- Background check
- Ability to lift 30lbs
