Job Summary
Direct Support Professional at Sevita providing person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting participants in achieving developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition), fostering meaningful relationships, helping participants participate in community activities, ensuring safety and well-being, and using strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and time-management skills. Requires a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance; education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent. This is an in-person role in Hahira, GA, with competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
