Job Summary
Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings by maintaining consistent engagement, fostering self-advocacy, and providing person-centered supports for daily living, hygiene, and medical needs including medication administration. Deliver transportation services, teach life skills, and encourage participation in groups and organizations to build social connections. Utilize Positive Support Programs to guide interactions and provide accurate shift documentation. Work independently to create safe environments, intervening in aggressive situations or assisting with physical tasks like wheelchair transfers and shower support. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and completion of background checks. Schedule includes weekdays 7am-5pm, evenings 3pm-10pm, overnights 10pm-8:30am, and weekends 8am-3pm.
