Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide essential care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Responsibilities include counseling, training in assisted daily living skills, intimate care, managing treatment plans, crisis intervention, maintaining health and safety, facilitating community integration, and completing necessary documentation. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, valid NYS Driver’s License, and demonstrate interpersonal skills while being willing to participate in mandatory training. Available shifts include full-time and part-time across various schedules, with a starting pay of $18.00/hour to $19.05/hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid NYS Driver’s License required for most positions
- Tuberculosis test and background check mandatory
