Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide essential services to individuals with intellectual disabilities/autism, ensuring health, safety, and meaningful life experiences. Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities like personal care, medication management, and hygiene, while also assisting with community integration and independence skills. DSPs must document care accurately, attend meetings, and follow prescribed support plans. Candidates must maintain a clean, safe environment and manage transportation for appointments. A reliable transportation mode is required, along with compliance with reporting procedures and company policies. A benefit package is included.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Eligible to work pending criminal background check
- Child abuse clearance
- Physical with Mantoux (TB) screening before training
