Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing community-based supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, helping participants engage in community activities, and supporting development of goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Build real, meaningful relationships with participants and work under supervision to ensure participants’ well-being and inclusion. Requires a valid driver’s license (at least one year) and access to a registered vehicle with insurance. In-person role located in Ely, IA, with hourly pay of $15.25 and full-time benefits for eligible employees.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license for at least one full year
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptability and multi-tasking abilities
- Teamwork and reliability
- Ability to support participants with developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition)
