Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist participants with personal hygiene, help them participate in community activities, and support development goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Strong emphasis on compassion, patience, reliability, and teamwork, with expectations of effective communication and time-management. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; six months of relevant experience preferred. This role is centered on delivering care and fostering independence for participants served by Sevita/D&S Community Services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
