Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; assist with personal hygiene, support individuals with behavioral challenges, help participants meet developmental goals (budgeting, exercise, nutrition), encourage participation in community activities, and build real, meaningful relationships with participants; must have compassionate, patient demeanor, strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and reliable time-management; requires valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
