Job Summary
Direct Support Professional at Sevita (REM Washington) providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist participants with personal hygiene, support goals related to budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and help them engage with their communities. Develop real, meaningful relationships with participants, take initiative to support their wellbeing, and work with a team under supervision to ensure respectful, person-centered care. Required traits include compassion, patience, reliability, and strong communication; must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
