Job Summary
Direct Support Professional sought to provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals in community-based settings. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting participants in achieving developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition), fostering meaningful relationships, and helping participants engage in their communities. Works alongside clinical staff and supervisors to ensure participants’ safety and well-being; requires strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and time-management. Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience: six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination. Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance are needed.
