Job Summary
Conduct daily direct support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on personal hygiene, behavioral challenges, and complex needs. Assist participants with developmental goals including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition while fostering meaningful relationships to help them integrate into the community and enjoy favorite activities. Take initiative to support growth, learning, and independence for those with physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges. Requires a valid driver's license with one year of experience and a clean motor vehicle record. Schedule includes Monday through Friday evenings plus every other weekend shifts from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license
- Access to a registered vehicle
- Proof of insurance
- Clean Motor Vehicle Registration record
- Driver's License for at least one year (post-permit)
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
