Job Summary
Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities and personal goals; assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement; help individuals build independence and life skills; offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support; assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration as needed; support individuals who may experience behavioral challenges using patience, empathy, and positive support techniques; contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where individuals can thrive.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and access to a registered, insured vehicle
- Ability to pass background checks
- Reliable, responsible, and compassionate approach to caregiving
