Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting participants with personal hygiene, supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs, helping participants engage in community activities, and supporting their developmental goals. Requires a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle; part-time schedule with weekend shifts (2p-10p on weekdays and 11a-11p every other weekend). Eligible for benefits included in the full-time compensation package; pays $17/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with proof of insurance
- Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills
