Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing care across home and community settings for Sevita participants. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting development goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and helping participants engage in community activities. You’ll work with a team of clinical staff and supervisors, develop meaningful relationships with participants, and contribute to their growth and independence. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with vehicle access; prior experience in human services or direct care is preferred. The role involves compassionate, patient, reliable, and collaborative care with a focus on participant well-being and functioning in community settings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
