Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, personal hygiene, supporting participants in pursuing personal goals (budgeting, exercise, nutrition), promoting participation in community activities, and building real relationships with participants. Requires compassionate, patient, reliable, and adaptable demeanor, strong communication and teamwork, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle. Education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent; six months of related experience is preferred.
