Job Summary
Direct Support Professional role provides community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working with the clinical team to implement therapeutic and behavioral plans. Responsibilities include transportation and community outings, assisting with daily living skills (meal prep, medication administration), supporting developmental goals (community participation, budgeting, exercise, nutrition, vocational tasks), helping with living skills (hygiene, grooming, bathing, toileting), and redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors. Flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, and as-needed) available; compensation includes full benefits and a strong emphasis on person-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum age 18
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Successful clearance of background checks
