Job Summary
Direct Support Professional responsible for providing community-based support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Build real relationships with participants, assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities, help participants pursue goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and enable participation in community activities. Requires compassionate, patient, reliable caregiving with strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and time-management skills; valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required. The role emphasizes supportive supervision, member-focused care, and contributions to a stable, fulfilling career at Sevita in Watertown, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
