Job Summary
Provide habilitation services to clients as prescribed in their service plans, including activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, and socialization. Assist clients in skill development and ensure nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diets. With appropriate training and supervision, administer medication to clients as assigned. Report immediately any observed deficiencies, abuse, or facility safety issues to management. This role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe environment at Services for the UnderServed, a respected NYC disability services organization.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- One year's experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons
- AMAP certification
- SCIP-R certification
- CPR & First Aid certification
