Job Summary
Provide habilitation services to clients as prescribed in their service plans, including activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, and socialization. Administer medication to clients with appropriate training and supervision while ensuring nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diets. Report immediately any deficiencies, abuse, or facility safety issues to management. This role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe environment at Services for the UnderServed in New York City.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- One year's experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons
- AMAP certification
- SCIP-R certification
- CPR & First Aid certification
