Job Summary
Provide habilitation services to clients as prescribed in their service plans, including activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, and socialization. Assist clients in skill development and ensure their nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diets. With appropriate training and supervision, administer medication to clients as assigned while complying with medical policies. Report immediately any observed deficiencies, abuse, or facility safety issues to management. This role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe environment at Services for the UnderServed in New York City.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- One year's experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons
- AMAP certification
- SCIP-R certification
- CPR & First Aid certification
