Job Summary
Provide habilitation services to clients as prescribed in their service plans, including CFA and Individual Service plans. Assist clients with skill development in activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, and socialization. Administer medication to clients as assigned and in compliance with medical policies. Ensure assigned clients' nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diets and assist with feeding as necessary. Report immediately any observed deficiencies, abuse, or facility safety issues to management. This role is part of a team dedicated to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe environment within New York City.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- One year's experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons
- AMAP certification
- SCIP-R certification
- CPR & First Aid certification
