Job Summary
Provide hands-on Direct Support Professional care to individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges, including personal care (dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing), documentation of progress, medication administration per policy, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Employ approved behavior support techniques and encourage community engagement; some DSP roles may require travel between Residential to Day programs. Requires high school diploma or GED and ability to lift/pull 50+ lbs; valid U.S. driver’s license with specified driving-history criteria. Eligible for benefits such as medical plans, PTO, 403(b) with employer match, and pathways for growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with driving record requirements: either at least 3 years unsuspended with no more than 3 points, or at least 2 years unsuspended with clean record
