Direct Support Professional/Route Driver (LS)

Direct Support Professional provides instruction and supervision for adults with developmental disabilities, delivering life skills, pre-vocational, vocational, and alternative program activities, and safely transporting clients on assigned routes. Responsibilities include documenting client information, goals, attendance, health and behavior reports in Therap, ensuring clients’ rights and safety, maintaining cleanliness, conducting daily vehicle safety checks, and operating wheelchair lifts. Requires effective communication with clients and staff, ability to interpret safety rules and procedures, and accurate reporting. Work is indoors/outdoors with travel limited to local routes; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have reliable transportation. Certifications and licensure training as indicated, plus a background check and drug testing requirements.
