Job Summary
The Habilitation Specialist (DSP) will aid individuals with autism, implementing established treatment plans to promote independence through the development of daily living and social skills. Responsibilities include ensuring the health and safety of individuals, maintaining confidentiality, assisting with relationship development, and promoting emotional well-being. Administer effective communication, transport individuals as needed, and uphold company and ethical standards, including the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals Code of Ethics. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and a valid driver's license.
