Job Summary
Direct Support Professional, Respite - Part Time: Independent Contractor position providing in-home hourly respite services to children in Bucks, Chester, or Delaware Counties, PA. Responsibilities include providing hourly relief for parents, caring for children in their own homes, and creating a fun, safe environment guided by Trauma-Informed Care core values (Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, Empowerment). Compensation is $18-$20 per hour based on experience; after-hours on-call support and potential yearly bonuses based on performance and feedback. Requires 18+ and background checks/drug screens; college students in social work or related fields encouraged to apply. Flexible, part-time schedule with varying hours each week.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Respite Caregiver experience preferred
- Compassionate and reliable

- Understanding and empathy of special health needs in children
- Clearances, background checks, drug screenings required
