Job Summary
Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety and security of youth assigned, delivering therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment. Engage with students in meaningful ways to teach and prompt appropriate behaviors while assisting with Activities of Daily Living skills. Complete required documentation including progress notes and incident reports using strong organizational and communication abilities. This role supports individuals ages 6 through 21 with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, as they develop vocational and social-emotional skills toward graduation.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA
- Devereux is a drug-free workplace, drug screening required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred
