Direct Support Professional - Residential, Piedmont Drive

Direct Support Professional provides support and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities in their home and in the community, assisting with personal care, household tasks, skill building, and implementing each resident's plan of care; duties include documenting progress, communicating needs to management, administering medications, assisting with transportation, and overnight supervision as needed. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Virginia driver's license; duties include maintaining documentation, coordinating with families and other providers, and following health and safety plans. Part-time position with responsibilities that include awake overnight supervision and collaboration with the resident and family to support independence and well-being.
