Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional (Residential Assistant) role involves supervising and supporting recreational and socialization activities for young men aged 17-21 in a transitional residential facility. Responsibilities include leading milieu staff, collaborating with case managers and clinicians, engaging with youth based on behavioral intervention plans, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and documenting positive behaviors. A bachelor's degree in a related social service field and at least three years of experience in a behavioral group setting is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health, etc.)
- 3 years or more experience with a high school diploma working with youth in a behavioral group setting
- Must have a valid driver's license
